Are You Protected?
We would like to take a moment and remind all MAXA Financial members, especially those that do online banking through CU@HOME, to be vigilant about online security. Viruses and other malware can lay dormant in your computer waiting to be triggered into stealing your usernames, account numbers, PINs and passwords.
We recommend members use an anti-virus application and be sure to keep it up-to-date. Security solutions from companies such as Norton by Symantec, Intel Security Group (McAfee) and Kaspersky Lab help keep your valuable information safe, but they need to be updated to be able to respond to new threats as they appear.
Users of MAXA CU@HOME have a very useful tool at their disposal that we encourage they all use. Direct Alerts will let you know when important changes are made to your CU@HOME information. You’ll find Direct Alerts under Messages and Alerts on the CU@HOME menu. You can choose to receive alerts by email or on your mobile phone.
